This silk scarf design is inspired by the distinctive ornamental patterns of the Katskhi Church of the Nativity of Christ (10th–11th century). Built by the Bagvashi noble family, this remarkable monument is unique in Georgian architecture for its original structure and artistic detail.

The carved decorations of the church fasade are harmoniously intertwined with lines from the great Georgian poet Alexander Chavchavadze:
